Louis Vuitton size guide: shoe sizes to US#
Louis Vuitton publishes its own EU-based shoe conversions, and they run a step lower than generic charts. For women, subtract 31 from the EU size: an EU 38 is a US 7 and an EU 39 is a US 8. Men’s shoes are labeled in LV sizing, which follows the UK scale: add 1 for the US size, so an LV 8 (FR 43) is a US 9. When in doubt, go by foot length in inches or centimeters.

Many third-party conversion charts list a women’s EU 38 as a US 7.5 or 8; Louis Vuitton’s own guide maps it to a US 7, which is why LV shoes have a reputation for running small.
