New Balance sneakers run true to size. Men's run US 7 to 16 (EU 40 to 51), women's US 4 to 12.5 (EU 34 to 45); each size maps to a foot length: a women's US 8 fits 25 cm (9.84 in), a men's EU 41.5 (US 8) fits 26 cm (10.24 in). Clothing charts sized by chest and waist sit further down.
What is New Balance grade school (GS) sizing? Grade school is the big-kid range, US 3.5 to 7, for roughly ages 8 to 12. GS numbers continue the men's scale: a GS 5.5 (often written "5.5 youth") fits a 9.25 in (23.5 cm) foot, and the largest GS 7 fits 9.75 in (24.8 cm), almost the same foot as an adult men's 7. Adults with smaller feet can wear GS too: match by foot length, for example 23.5 cm is a GS 5.5 or a women's 6.5.
What widths do New Balance shoes come in? Widths run from 2A (narrow) to 6E (extra wide); D is the standard men's width and B the standard women's. The size charts below apply to every width, only the fit across the foot changes.
